Due to heavy holiday parking traffic, the Airport does expect to fill and close certain public parking facilities. Customers will be redirected to available parking facilities should this occur.
The Terminal 1 Long Term Garage and the Terminal 3 Economy Lot are the two facilities that are most likely to fill during the Holiday Weekends.
Customers are urged to allow plenty of time to find a parking space (and take a shuttle to the terminal if parking in the T1 Economy Lot).

From Short Term to Valet, McCarran International Airport has more than 17,000 public parking spaces offering a variety of choices to meet your needs. Learn which option is best for you. Parking facilities are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.Parking in the garages is subject to availability. Reservations for parking are not available. During the summer and other peak travel periods such as holidays, the Terminal 1 Long Term garage may fill to capacity. Customers will be re-directed to the Terminal 1 Economy Lot. Courtesy shuttle service is available to take you to Terminal 1. For any administrative or Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI) related issues, our office staff are available Mon-Fri from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, excluding County holidays.
We accept cash, debit cards, all major credit cards, traveler’s checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders.
Parking facilities are regularly patrolled by airport personnel.
Emergency call boxes are located in elevator lobbies and in other prominent locations.
We recommend that you always:
- Lock your car
- Take your keys and parking ticket with you
- Take your valuables with you or hide them
The Airport declares itself not responsible for fire, theft, damage to or loss of any mode of transportation or any article left therein. This includes motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, or any other form of transportation.
As a courtesy to our parking customers, we provide the following services free of charge:
- Battery Jump starts
- Tire inflations
- Lost car searches

All parking facilities have designated handicap vehicle stalls located in close proximity to elevators or shuttle stops.
Bicycle parking is available at both Terminals. At Terminal 1, the bike rack is located on Zero Level of the Public Parking Garage next to the elevators. At Terminal 3, there are two bike racks located on Zero Level of the Public Parking Garage. One is located next to the east elevator lobby and the other is located next to the west elevator lobby.
Parking location reminder cards are available at every elevator lobby in the garages or inside the bus shelters of Economy and Remote Parking. If you cannot find your car when you return, call the Parking Office by using a Courtesy Phone located near the elevators or by Pay Machines for assistance.
The maximum stay is 30 days. If parking in excess of 30 days is necessary, arrangements must be made with the Parking Office at 702.261.5122.
Smarte Carte service is available in the public parking garages and inside the Terminal Buildings for a fee of $5.00.
