Purchase Request

The Clark County Department of Aviation (CCDOA) owns various properties that were acquired for airport land use compatibility purposes. Several properties may be eligible for purchase. View the property details by utilizing the interactive map below and clicking on individual parcels. Once a parcel is selected, users may click “Add to Form” to auto-populate the parcel information onto the form or Property Purchase Application to manually enter the parcel information.

Parties interested in purchasing property will need to submit both an application and a non-refundable filing fee in the amount of $100.00. Payment may be tendered by check or money order made payable to “Clark County Department of Aviation” and submitted to the address listed on the application. Applications received will go through the following process:

Step One:

Preliminary review by CCDOA to determine our interest in selling the property. If consent is granted the application may advance to the next step.

Step Two:

CCDOA will collect a research fee from the potential property purchaser. The research fee will be dependent upon the acreage requested, as follows:

0 to 1.00 acres: $1,500.00
1.01 to 3.00 acres: $3,000.00
3.01 to 5.00 acres: $5,000.00
5.01 to 10.00 acres: $7,000.00
10.01 to 15.00 acres: $10,000.00
15.01 and above acres: $15,000.00

Note: If a sale results from this application process, the research fee will be returned to the nominating party upon closing and/or execution of all required documents.

Step Three:

Clark County Department Heads and Elected Officials will be notified of the nominated property and provided an opportunity to advise if there is a Clark County public need for the property. If no such need exists, the application may advance to the next step.

Step Four:

Clark County will follow the applicable procedures in NRS 244.281 and NRS 244.282

Filing Fee
All requests will require a $100.00 filing fee to be paid before the application will be reviewed.

Upon receipt of the filing fee and preliminary application review, the requestor will receive an approval or denial by e-mail from DOA Real Estate. If approval is issued, the research fee outlined below must be paid.

Research Fee Structure

0 to 1.00 acres: $1,500.00
1.01 to 3.00 acres: $3,000.00
3.01 to 5.00 acres: $5,000.00
5.01 to 10.00 acres: $7,000.00
10.01 to 15.00 acres: $10,000.00
15.01 and above acres: $15,000.00

  • All fees are non-refundable, unless the property is sold as a result of this application, then the research fee will be (a) returned to the nominating party upon execution of all required documents if the nominating party is not the successful bidder; or (b) applied to the closing costs when the nominating party is the successful bidder.
