The Clark County Department of Aviation (CCDOA) has an inventory of vacant land that is
not needed for current or projected airport operational purposes. This land has been
identified by CCDOA as surplus property available for sale pursuant to the
Clark County Department of Aviation Surplus Land Sale Policy

individual parcels. Once a parcel is selected, users may click “Add to Form” to
auto-populate the parcel information onto the interest form. Individuals may also
manually enter parcel information on the
Property Purchase Interest Form.
Data collected from these interest forms will assist Clark County staff in measuring the
demand for surplus land and identifying possible areas of sale for future auctions. Before
the parcel list for a specific auction is finalized, an application period will be opened
for private parties to nominate surplus parcels. Nominating a surplus parcel does not guarantee
it will be included in the auction.
Nomination applications will be available online at www.mccarran.com/DoingBusiness/RealEstate/Forms during the application period. Private parties
must submit both the application and a non-refundable filing fee in the amount of $100.00 by the posted deadline to nominate
a parcel. Payment may be tendered by check or money order made payable to “Clark County Department of Aviation” and submitted
to the address listed on the application. Nomination applications received will go through the following process:
Review by CCDOA to verify the parcel is still available for sale.
If the parcel is available, CCDOA will forward the nomination application
for further Clark County staff review.
If a determination is made to include the nominated parcel in the auction,
CCDOA will collect a research fee from the applicant. The research fee will
be dependent upon the acreage requested, as follows:
0 to 1.00 acres: $1,500.00
1.01 to 3.00 acres: $3,000.00
3.01 to 5.00 acres: $5,000.00
5.01 to 10.00 acres: $7,000.00
10.01 to 15.00 acres: $10,000.00
15.01 and above acres: $15,000.00
Note: If a sale results from this application process, the research fee will be returned
to the nominating party at the close of escrow.
