Community/Government Affairs Manager
Clark County Department of Aviation
Tina Frias began her career at the Clark County Department of Aviation in 2013 as the Community/Government Affairs Manager. In this role, she addresses government and political affairs, monitoring all local, state and federal rules, regulations and laws that may impact airport operations. Frias serves as a liaison between the Department and other government agencies and represents Clark County on a variety of local, state, and national boards. Tina oversees initiatives to enhance the customer experience. This includes managing the airport-wide McCarran At Your Service customer service program that encompasses hospitality training, autism and human trafficking awareness initiatives, and customer data management.
Prior to joining the Department of Aviation, Frias held several positions focused on legislation and policy, including time as a Legal Policy Analyst for the Nevada Assembly Leadership Office and as a Legal Fellow for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. She has worked on numerous campaigns and held multiple legal clerkships. Tina is proud of her public service career path and contributions to the community, including having served as a Voter Protection Legal Assistant for Organizing for America.
Frias earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from California Baptist University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Tina enjoys traveling with her husband Damian and playing chase with her son David.
