Samuel G. Ingalls has worked for the Clark County Department of Aviation for more than two decades, and currently serves as Assistant Director of Aviation, Information Systems, overseeing all technology throughout the airport system.
During his tenure with the Department, Ingalls has worked to usher in many innovative systems, and in recognition of the success of various projects at McCarran International Airport, Ingalls was named a Computerworld-Smithsonian Laureate for technological innovation in the transportation industry. He holds a leadership role in the industry, with work on behalf of Airports Council International (ACI), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Airlines for America (A4A). In that regard, Ingalls has served as the elected airport representative of IATA’s Passenger Experience Management Group, having chaired the Common Use Working Group (CUWG) involving more than 100 airlines, airports and vendors from around the world. He is published frequently and speaks around the world on aviation technology.
Ingalls earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as having been certified as an International Airport Professional (IAP) by the International Civil Aviation Organization and ACI. He also holds a commercial multi-engine pilot’s rating.
