Automated Vehicle Identification at McCarran
The Clark County Department of Aviation at McCarran International Airport has implemented an Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI) program, pursuant to Title 20 Ordinance, Section 20.09.010, and Operating Directive 01-2-R005.
The AVI program is a commercial vehicle management system that tracks and monitors all commercial ground transportation vehicles that utilize the Airport’s roadway system and loading/unloading areas. Commercial ground transportation vehicles includes for hire limousines, buses, sedans, taxicabs, regional carriers from nearby cities as well as courtesy vehicles operated by hotels, motels, off-airport parking facility operators or others.
Permit and application process for all Ground Transportation companies conducting business at McCarran International Airport.
Temporary placards can be issued to an active AVI participant for temporary or loaner vehicles. The duration can not exceed 14 days.
Information for companies outside of Clark County and/or the State of Nevada, or any Ground Transportation company that does not yet have an approved AVI agreement or permit.
